Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Engineer to join our team and help us build and maintain our event-driven data pipelines on AWS. As a Senior Data Engineer, you'll work closely with our team to design, develop, and deploy scalable and efficient data pipelines that meet the needs of our business. You'll have the opportunity to work with a wide range of technologies, including AWS local event-driven services, Python, NoSQL, and Kinesis.

Key Responsibilities

* Design, develop, and maintain event-driven data pipelines on AWS, including Amazon EventBridge, AWS Lambda, and AWS Step Functions

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and define data requirements
• Perform data quality checks and monitoring
• Optimize data pipelines for performance and cost
• Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS advancements and technologies
• Develop and implement personalization calculations using Python and Pydantic models
• Design and maintain DynamoDB tables and NoSQL databases
• Use Amazon Kinesis to collect, process, and analyze streaming data

What You Need to Succeed

What Will Give You an Edge

* A four-year degree in computer science, data science, or a related field

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering
• A solid understanding of AWS local event-driven services
• Experience with data modeling, data quality, and data security
• Experience with Python and serverless technologies
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience with personalization, Python, Pydantic models, DynamoDB, and NoSQL
• Experience with Amazon Kinesis
