Job Summary

As an Experienced Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for handling a high volume of inbound calls, providing timely and accurate responses to healthcare member and provider inquiries, and typing information into our computer system simultaneously. You'll work closely with our team to resolve issues, apply knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of tasks, and maintain a positive, professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Handle a high volume of inbound calls for healthcare member and provider inquiries

  • Answer healthcare member and provider inquiries and type information into the computer system simultaneously
  • Utilize web camera visibility to provide a personal touch to customer interactions
  • Apply knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of tasks, including resolving issues and providing solutions
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in our computer system
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve shared goals and objectives
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge

Essential Qualifications

* High School diploma or equivalent required

  • 2 years of customer service experience preferred
  • Minimum typing speed of 30-35 wpm preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Basic knowledge of personal computers required
  • Strong reading comprehension and writing skills
  • Ability to follow established procedures to meet customer needs

Preferred Qualifications

* Call center experience

  • Health insurance experience preferred
  • Substantial understanding of the job and industry
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
