Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced IT Support Specialist at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for the following key tasks:

  • Entering, updating, and verifying data accurately to ensure the integrity of our records and systems
  • Providing technical assistance to clients via phone, email, or remote access, resolving issues related to software, hardware, and network connectivity
  • Investigating and resolving complex technical issues, collaborating with internal teams to identify and implement solutions
  • Conducting site visits to investigate issues, install or update equipment and software, and provide on-site support as needed
  • Maintaining accurate records of client interactions, issues, and resolutions
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and minimize downtime
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies to enhance your skills and knowledge

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A strong background in data entry, with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical clients
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows (client/server) and other operating systems
  • Familiarity with Cisco VPN, Citrix, Apparition, Symantec, and other remote access applications
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and identify effective solutions
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in computer science, information technology, or related field preferred

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset:

  • Experience with cloud-based applications and services
  • Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies
  • Certification in IT support, help desk, or related field
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
