Entry Level Architect
Jacobs is a company focused on solving critical problems for cities and environments. They are seeking an Architecture Graduate to join their Arlington, VA office to design buildings and manage project layouts while ensuring all elements are integrated for client approval.
Responsibilities
- Design various types of buildings using mainly Revit
- Plan and program layouts of projects
- Coordinate and integrate all other discipline elements into unified design for client review and approval
- Direct activities of workers engaged in preparing drawings and specification documents for the Conceptual Design Phase, Schematic Design Phase, and/or the Detailed Design Phase of a project
- Design work to be reviewed and stamped by a Registered Architect
- Periodic travel to construction sites should be anticipated
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an NAAB accredited program
- Experience with Sketch up, Adobe Suite, InDesign and Revit
- United States Citizenship
- Masters degree in Architecture
- Familiarity with general architectural concepts
- Experience with 3D Modeling and Rendering Software such as Rhino, Lumion, Enscape, etc
