Assistant Media Planner

Wonderful Agency is the full-service, award-winning, in-house agency that creates marketing communications for iconic brands. The Assistant Media Planner will support the development, execution, and optimization of media campaigns while gaining hands-on exposure to research, consumer insights, and media strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Research and analyze consumer behavior to uncover actionable insights
  • Monitor and interpret trends across the media landscape
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to plan, execute, and manage campaigns across all media channels
  • Interact with global media partners and help build strong working relationships
  • Learn how to take campaigns from concept to execution, including the nuances of planning, negotiating, and stewarding media buys
  • Develop an understanding of industry standards, processes, emerging tools and platforms, and foundational negotiation tactics

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Advertising, Marketing, or a related field
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, with a strong emphasis in Excel
  • Analytical and creative thinking
  • Inquisitive nature and interest in current trends and consumer behavior
  • Strong math skills required, with the ability to work comfortably with numbers and data
  • Self-disciplined, energetic and motivated
  • Ability to apply past learning/experiences to new projects
  • Outgoing personality and strong communication skills
  • Interest in building a career
