[Remote] Pro Cheer League Athlete
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Varsity Spirit is a leading global source for cheerleading, dance team, performing arts, and yearbook. They are seeking a Pro Cheer League Athlete who will serve as an ambassador for the Pro Cheer League, demonstrating excellence in performance and sportsmanship while inspiring fans and mentoring youth.
Responsibilities
- Compete in high energy team routines at National Pro Cheer League events in multiple cheer categories (i.e. Stunting, Pyramids, Baskets, Standing Tumbling, Running Tumbling)
- Perform at games, league showcases, fan experiences, sponsor gatherings, and community outreach
- Attend weekly practices and competition events: 170 Estimated total hours Nov (25), Dec (25), Jan-March (40 per month)
- Engage professionally as a brand ambassador—sign autographs, support sponsors, and uphold team and company values
- Mentor and inspire through youth clinics, camps, and philanthropic appearances
- Collaborate on social media content and media interactions under guidance
- Execute choreography with precision, athletic power, and polished stage presence
- Learn and adapt to new routines quickly with coach direction
- Maintain brand-compliant appearance and personal fitness
- Assist in event planning, logistics, and promotional coordination
- Uphold a positive, team-first attitude, resilience through feedback, and a growth mindset
Skills
- Prior experience at high school, collegiate, all-star, or semi/pro level in dance/tumbling/stunts
- Strong athletic foundation: jumps, tumbling, strength, endurance & flexibility
- Exceptional stage presence: confidence, facial expression, and performance energy
- Outstanding teamwork, communication, and ambassadorial skills
- Social media literacy and comfort in public-facing roles (content, interviews)
- Resilient, coachable, and cool under pressure
- Must be at least 18 years old (league age requirement)
- Ensure reliable travel for regular face-to-face touch points
- Training/certification in dance, gymnastics, or performance arts
- Previous experience in professional-level representation, media, or youth mentorship
Education Requirements
- Prior experience at high school, collegiate, all-star, or semi/pro level in dance/tumbling/stunts.
- High school diploma or GED preferred
