Part Time Publication Designer
N2 Company is America’s leading publisher of community magazines, dedicated to building community and providing meaningful work. They are seeking a part-time Publication Designer to create engaging magazine layouts, work collaboratively within a creative team, and adhere to brand standards in a deadline-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Layout and design a large volume of pages of nationally distributed magazines
- Work in a high-speed, deadline-intensive setting
- Adhere to accuracy, brand, and quality standards
- Have a “We, Not Me” mentality as a member of a team of designers
Skills
- Strong competence with Adobe Creative Suite software, particularly InDesign
- Keen eye for clean, engaging, and well-structured layout design
- Delivering design work with both speed and precision
- Flexible work schedule
- Exceptional attitude – no brilliant jerks allowed
- Adaptability in a changing environment
- Basic understanding of Google Sheets and Asana
- A portfolio of your work samples with a focus on magazine layout samples
