Job Summary:

We're seeking an experienced and flexible Chat Moderator to join our team on a part-time, remote basis. As a Chat Moderator, you'll be responsible for ensuring that our Discord server remains a safe and enjoyable space for all users. This will involve moderating chat conversations, enforcing community guidelines, and resolving conflicts in a fair and respectful manner.

Key Responsibilities:

* Moderating chat conversations to ensure that users adhere to community guidelines and rules

• Deleting messages that violate community guidelines and rules
• Banning users who repeatedly violate community guidelines and rules
• Muting users who have violated community guidelines and rules
• Investigating reports made by users about potential rule violations
• Collaborating with other team members to resolve conflicts and maintain a positive community environment
• Providing excellent customer service and support to users
• Staying up-to-date with community guidelines and rules to ensure that moderation is fair and consistent

Qualifications:

* Must be 18 years of age or older

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
• Familiarity with Discord and community management tools
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow guidelines and rules

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience working in a community management or customer service role

• Familiarity with arenaflex's mission and values
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Discord and community management tools
• Experience with conflict resolution and mediation
