[Remote] Data Entry Clerk (Remote)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Farber Debt Solutions is one of Canada’s oldest and largest debt solution providers, dedicated to helping Canadians overcome financial challenges. They are seeking a Data Entry Clerk to assist in updating and maintaining database information while providing administrative support, requiring attention to detail and self-motivation.
Responsibilities
- Preparing documentation for filing and/or associated correspondence
- Obtaining all proper supporting information and documentation to ensure proper, efficient administration of the file (including, but not limited to income and other tax filings, asset realizations)
- Liaising with internal staff for clarification or outstanding documents (DSA/DSM)
- Organizing file documents in accordance with our naming protocols
- Calculation of income and surplus income obligations
- Understanding relevant legal requirements of multiple provincial jurisdictions
- Performing relevant legal requirements of multiple provincial jurisdictions
- Performing relevant searches for insolvency, Personal Property Security Act registrations, house valuations and computation of realizable value
- Creating all documents required for signature
- Accurately transferring pertinent information from written and scanned records into Ascend (our internal software)
- Maintaining client confidence and protecting operations by keeping confidential information
- Electronic filing of statutory documents
- Preparing documents for DocuSign
- Other tasks may be assigned as necessary
Skills
- Experienced performing data entry with a proven high level of accuracy
- Extremely detailed oriented
- Exceptional Organizational and prioritization skills
- Proficient technical skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word); able to learn computer software quickly
- Able to work independently and efficiently
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey information to others
- Good interpersonal skills to speak and deal effectively with other staff members
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM would be an asset
