AI Scrum Master​/Agile Coach Sr; mid-career

Position: AI Scrum Master/Agile Coach Sr (mid-career) Description Are you ready to join a dynamic team that's pushing the boundaries of artificial intelligence and analytics? The Lockheed Martin Artificial Intelligence Center (LAIC) team is seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to support multiple AI product teams and drive business success. As a key member of the AI Foundations portfolio, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of full stack developers, data engineers, machine learning/AI specialists, product managers, data scientists, and agility mentors to deliver maximum value to the enterprise. With a focus on agile development methodologies, systems engineering, and AI/analytics, this role offers a unique chance to make a significant impact and shape the future of AI at Lockheed Martin. What you'll be doing

• Developing and maintaining processes and systems to visualize, understand, and monitor teamwork scope
• Making critical observations about risks to milestones and goals
• Investigating integrations between new tools and data that could be of value to the team
• Developing and communicating a systems-level understanding of customer needs
• Speaking on behalf of the team or customer to develop common understanding and expectations
• Hosting, facilitating, and improving upon regular team ceremonies and business rhythms
• Prioritizing and coaching high customer empathy
• Fostering and driving team culture by teaching and championing agile philosophies
• Coordinating specific team events
• Understanding, utilizing, and communicating team metrics
• Recognizing and elevating when leadership support is needed
• Acting as a protector/advocate/defender of the team's mental health and scope
• Recognizing and distinguishing between culture and process problems and aid in the resolution of either
• Collaborating with other agility coaches and scrum masters within the LAIC to learn and leverage the experience and knowledge of your peers

Who are you You are a highly motivated and experienced professional with a strong background in project execution, agile development methodologies, systems engineering, and/or AI and analytics. You have:

• Working knowledge of agile development methodologies and systems engineering
• Experience with AI and analytics
• Strong technical and leadership skills
• Ability to facilitate and improve upon regular team ceremonies and business rhythms
• Excellent communication and coaching skills
• Ability to prioritize and coach high customer empathy
• Strong understanding of team metrics and ability to communicate them effectively
• Ability to recognize and elevate when leadership support is needed
• Strong passion for agile philosophies and ability to teach and champion them
• Ability to collaborate with other agility coaches and scrum masters to learn and leverage their experience and knowledge

Basic Qualifications

• One or more certifications in Scrum Mastery, Product Ownership, or Agile Coaching
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to clearly explain the trade-offs between possible software solutions
• Ability to learn and communicate both advanced concepts and high level strategy
• Experience in defining program objectives, preparing and presenting plans and results to senior level management and customers
• Demonstrated excellent team building and interpersonal skills, capable of relationship building with customers and employees at all levels and across multiple geographic locations. Demonstrated ability to work well with senior technical staff

Desired Skills

• General understanding of AI and Machine Learning Concepts
• Experience in leading small technical teams
• Familiarity with Git Lab, JIRA, Version One, Confluence, Teams
• Strong understanding in the application of state-of-the-art technologies in one or more of these areas of interest:
