Job Summary

We're looking for an experienced Industrial Engineering and Transportation Analyst to join our team at arenaflex's Distribution Center. As a key member of our Transportation department, you'll play a critical role in helping us meet the demands of our fast-paced and dynamic environment. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting the H.L. Transportation Fleet, consulting with managers to outline and prioritize business needs, integrating multiple data assets across various database platforms, and building, creating, and maintaining multiple Excel spreadsheets.

Key Responsibilities

* Assist the H.L. Transportation Fleet in meeting operational demands and ensuring efficient logistics operations

• Consult and communicate with managers to outline and prioritize business needs, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives
• Integrate multiple data assets across various database platforms, providing insights and recommendations to inform business decisions
• Build, create, and maintain multiple Excel spreadsheets, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in data management
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional customer experiences

Requirements

* Previous experience as a Data Analyst is preferred, with a strong background in data analysis, interpretation, and visualization

• Previous experience with Microsoft Excel is required, with advanced skills in data management, analysis, and visualization
• Proficiency with Microsoft Access is preferred, with experience in database design, development, and maintenance
• Typing and 10-key competencies are preferred, with a minimum typing speed of 40 wpm
• Must pass a Background Check and a Drug Test

Essential Skills and Competencies

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with experience in data management, analysis, and visualization
• Proficiency in Microsoft Access, with experience in database design, development, and maintenance
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities

Preferred Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field

• Previous experience in a Transportation or Logistics role, with a strong understanding of transportation operations and logistics management
• Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
• Certification in Industrial Engineering or a related field
