[Remote] Research Data Associate, Per Diem - 100% Remote

NYU Langone Health is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Per Diem Research Data Associate to assist with data entry for a research study. This role is crucial for the accurate and timely collection, organization, and entry of research data in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform accurate and efficient data entry from study-related materials into research databases and spreadsheets
- Verify and validate entered data against source documents to ensure data integrity and accuracy
- Follow established protocols and guidelines for data handling to comply with study requirements and confidentiality standards
- Identify and report discrepancies or errors in data and collaborate with team members to resolve issues
- Maintain proper documentation of research data according to study requirements
- Assist in organizing and managing research files, records, and materials
- Facilitate other research study-related tasks as needed to support the research team
Skills
- Associate's degree plus one year related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Computer literate with good interpersonal, writing and verbal communication skills
- Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) Certification is preferred (required in some disciplines)
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology is preferred
- Experience working in an Academic Medical Center Preferred
