The Role

As a live chat agent for arenaflex, you'll be the first point of contact for customers interacting with our clients' websites. You'll be responsible for providing timely and accurate support, answering questions, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner. Our clients' customers will be looking for assistance with a range of topics, from product information and pricing to returns and refunds. You'll have access to a comprehensive knowledge base and will be supported by a supervisor who's always available to help with tricky questions.

Key Responsibilities:

* Respond to customer inquiries via live chat, providing timely and accurate support

  • Answer questions and resolve issues related to products, services, and policies
  • Use a document with answers to commonly asked questions to ensure consistency and accuracy
  • Collaborate with supervisors to resolve complex issues and improve customer satisfaction
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics, including response times and customer satisfaction ratings
  • Work independently, using your own initiative and judgment to resolve issues and make decisions
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and courtesy in all interactions with customers

Essential Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., business, communications) preferred

  • 1+ year of customer service experience, preferably in a live chat or call center environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse customer populations
  • Ability to work independently, using your own initiative and judgment to resolve issues and make decisions
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
  • Proficiency in using technology, including social media and website chat functions
  • Reliable internet connection and a device able to access these functions (phone, tablet, or laptop)
  • Availability of 10+ hours per week, with flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines

  • Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) software and other relevant tools
  • Familiarity with arenaflex's products and services, or a willingness to learn and adapt quickly
  • Certification in customer service, such as Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR) or Certified Customer Experience Professional (CCEP)
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers in multiple languages
