Brilliant Agency is a rapidly growing agency focused on family-oriented brands, seeking a Full-time Press Coordinator to support their marketing efforts. The role involves media relations, client management, creative ideation, and assisting in event planning and execution.

Responsibilities

  • Pull and manage media and influencer databases
  • Draft and distribute pitches/press releases/media alerts; Conduct follow up and monitor for coverage
  • Build relationships with key journalists and influencers
  • Coverage monitoring
  • Inbound influencer and media inquiries
  • Sample requests
  • Calendar invites and call reminders
  • Research projects
  • Participate in brainstorms and contribute creative ideas for client campaigns, new product launches, pitch angles, etc
  • Assist in research, planning, and execution of virtual or live press media & influencer press events, creative media mailers, etc

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • 1-2 internships in PR or relevant consumer goods industries
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • A proactive, self-starter attitude with a passion for staying ahead of trends
