Role Overview

As a Virtual Assistant / Airbnb Customer Support Specialist, you'll be responsible for managing our short-term rental properties, addressing guest inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner. Your primary focus will be on providing exceptional customer service, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining a high level of quality control. You'll work closely with our property owners, housekeeping teams, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

* Guest and Reservation Management: + Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner + Process reservations, cancellations, and modifications + Provide accurate information about our properties and neighborhoods

  • Virtual Property Management:

+ Coordinate with housekeeping teams to ensure properties are clean and ready for guests + Arrange amenities and services for guests, such as airport transfers and local tours + Monitor property performance and provide insights to improve guest satisfaction

  • Cleaner Management, Scheduling, and Coordination:

+ Schedule and coordinate cleaning services for our properties + Ensure that properties are cleaned and ready for guests + Communicate with housekeeping teams to resolve any issues or concerns

  • Additional Responsibilities:

+ Maintain accurate records and reports on guest interactions and property performance + Collaborate with our marketing team to develop and implement guest engagement strategies + Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices

Success Metrics

* Maintain a quick response rate to all inquiries (less than 2 hours)

  • Resolve all guest issues with a high sense of urgency (less than 3 hours or ASAP)
  • Contribute to a review rating of 4.8 or higher on all review platforms
  • Achieve a high level of guest satisfaction (95% or higher)

Essential Qualifications

* 2+ years of customer service experience

  • 2+ years of vacation rental customer service or hotel experience
  • Must be available to work during normal U.S. business hours (EST)

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with Airbnb customer service

  • Ability to work with multiple technology platforms in a fast-paced environment and learn new technologies as needed
  • Familiarity with property management software and systems

Additional Skills and Qualifications

* Tech-savvy with excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Strong verbal, written, and reading skills in English
  • Extreme attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Outstanding customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
  • Excellent typing skills, including speed and accuracy
  • Creative problem-solving skills and ability to think independently
  • Strong decision-making skills and ability to follow directions
  • Conflict resolution experience and ability to handle difficult situations
