Business Development Representative

NLPatent is a fast-growing technology company building AI software for patent professionals. They are seeking a Business Development Representative to focus on cold outbound prospecting and qualifying inbound leads, playing a key role in shaping the success of their Business Development function.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively prospect into target accounts across multiple industries
  • Execute high-volume outbound activity via: Cold calling, Email sequencing, LinkedIn outreach
  • Qualify inbound leads and route high-quality opportunities to Account Executives
  • Research accounts and personalize outreach to drive engagement
  • Book qualified meetings for the sales team
  • Maintain accurate CRM data and pipeline tracking
  • Collaborate with Sales & Marketing to refine messaging and targeting
  • Contribute ideas and feedback to help build scalable outbound processes

Skills

  • ~1 year of experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles (preferred)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable with high-volume outbound activity
  • Highly coachable and open to feedback
  • Competitive mindset with a drive to exceed goals
  • Organized, curious, and eager to learn
