[Remote] Accounts Payable Specialist

They are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to provide full cycle accounts payable support, ensuring compliance with company policies and assisting with various accounting projects.
Responsibilities
- Provide full cycle accounts payable support for multiple field offices, including processing vendor invoices and employee expense reports
- Ensure proper approvals for payment on invoices in compliance with company policy
- Accurately code and process expense reports
- Maintain the Accounts Payable email inbox and respond to payment status inquiries
- Assist the accounting department with special projects as needed
Skills
- High School diploma or GED
- Previous experience in accounts payable
- Prior data entry experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proficient in MS Office products
- Experience with Emburse software
- Familiarity with handling subcontracts and subcontractor invoices
- College coursework in accounting
