[Remote] Business Development Representative

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Visionary Integration Professionals (VIP) is a management consulting and technology deployment solutions provider. They are seeking a highly motivated entry level Business Development Representative to drive growth by generating and nurturing qualified leads in the state and local government sector.

Responsibilities

  • Demand Generation & Growth Marketing
  • Create a demand generation strategy that supports VIP’s growth objectives
  • Work with marketing to plan and execute multi-channel campaigns that include social, webinars, email, and paid ads that drive inbound traffic
  • Coordinate and promote webinars and other events involving business stakeholders and external partners
  • Follow-up with conference attendees
  • Continually analyze effectiveness of your efforts to make data-driven improvements
  • Content & Product Marketing
  • Work with internal stakeholders and partners to create targeted content that drives lead generation among VIP’s target customers
  • Distribute content across various channels to promote prospect engagement
  • Nurture leads through the sales funnel by developing targeted content including emails, web content, blog posts, case studies, etc
  • Own and execute the social media strategy, primarily focusing on LinkedIn
  • Optimize VIP’s SEO strategy for web-based content and prepare the company to score highly in AI-based search
  • Develop, track, and report on KPIs to focus on continuous improvement of your efforts
  • Lead Generation & Nurturing
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of marketing-qualified leads (MQLs) and track conversion through the funnel
  • Ensure all leads are either with sales or are in email nurtures for latent warming
  • Budget Management
  • Manage and allocate budgets across demand generation channels
  • Monitor spending and Return on Ad Spend (ROAS), adjusting strategies to maximize marketing investments

Skills

  • 1 year of sales experience, ideally in B2B SaaS or IT services
  • Experience conducting meetings with leads with the goal being to gather basic business needs to qualify the lead
  • Self-starter, able to execute independently and work cross-functionally
