Analyst, Data & Software Engineering - February 2026 Start Date
Ovative Group is an independent media, measurement, and creative firm that helps brands transform their media and measurement programs. They are seeking an Analyst, Data & Software Engineering to join their product and engineering development team, where the individual will be responsible for creating, optimizing, and maintaining scalable software and data solutions.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define needs & develop applications that bring value to the organization
- Assess complex problems and provide well thought out options on how to resolve them
- Create distributed systems that are scalable, fault-tolerant, low-cost, and simple-to-manage/use
- Document and test new software solutions
- Follow current documentation templates and suggest improvements to documentation strategies
- Test systems to ensure the highest quality solutions possible
Skills
- 0-1 years experience creating software
- Experience with one or more major programming object-oriented languages (Python, Java). Python preferred
- Experience working with databases using SQL
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Self-motivated and results-oriented
- Ability to interact with cross-functional teams
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Highly developed analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
