Experienced Customer Insights Student Program – Automotive Industry Research and Analysis

Our Customer and Market Insights organization is a critical group within arenaflex's Portfolio Planning, driving business success through a deep understanding of human needs, attitudes, and behaviors. We inspire new products, marketing, and experiences by leveraging a full toolbox of proven and innovative methods and tools, from ethnography to online research communities and complex product tests.

Job Summary

As a Customer Insights student, you'll participate in the evaluation of market trends, analysis of consumer opinion data, and competitive products/actions to identify arenaflex's next opportunity. You'll support aspects within the research process, from designing and executing consumer research to transforming results into actionable insights, implications, and recommendations. This part-time role offers students the opportunity to work year-round, with the possibility of expanding summer work hours to 40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

* Evaluate market trends and analyze consumer opinion data to identify arenaflex's next opportunity

  • Support research process aspects, including designing, executing, and analyzing consumer research
  • Transform research results into actionable insights, implications, and recommendations to drive strategic decisions
  • Collaborate with outside research vendors to gather insights and data
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop new products, marketing strategies, and experiences
  • Analyze competitive products and actions to inform arenaflex's business decisions

Essential Qualifications

* Pursuing a Bachelor's degree or Master's degree at an accredited university

  • Ability to work 24 hours per week, year-round
  • Strong interest in the automotive industry
  • Demonstrates critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel

Preferred Qualifications

* Currently a Sophomore or Junior at an accredited university at the time of hire

  • Pursuing a degree in Business, Market Research, Social Sciences, Mathematics/Statistics, or a related field
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher (based on a 4.0 scale)
  • Creative / resourceful information mining and data analytic skills
  • Advanced analytical skills
  • Strong interest in automotive industry trends and innovations
