Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced customer service representative to join our team in the Kansas City area. As a remote customer service representative, you will be responsible for handling inbound calls, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. You will be working from the comfort of your own home, with equipment provided by arenaflex. This is a full-time opportunity with a competitive pay rate of $17.00 per hour, and $18.00 per hour for bilingual Spanish speakers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound calls from customers, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Provide education and status updates on previously submitted pre-authorizations or pre-determination requests
  • Meet performance goals established for the position in the areas of efficiency, call quality, customer satisfaction, first call resolution, and attendance
  • Work collaboratively with the customer service team to achieve team goals and objectives
  • Utilize computer systems and software to document customer interactions and resolve issues

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • At least 1 year of recent call center experience, preferably in a remote or virtual environment
  • 6 months of previous remote work experience, with a proven track record of productivity and reliability
  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer skills, with the ability to learn and utilize new software and systems
  • Ability to pass a bilingual Spanish test and basic computer assessment (for bilingual Spanish speakers)

  • Previous experience working in a customer-facing role, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service
  • Experience working with computer systems and software, including CRM systems and helpdesk software
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve complex customer issues
