Primary Responsibilities

As an Experienced Full Stack Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Handling high-volume inbound calls (70-120 daily) from policyholders, providers, and interested third parties, providing exceptional service and ensuring first contact resolution.
  • Reviewing and maintaining new and revised procedures regarding policy information, staying up-to-date on industry developments and regulatory requirements.
  • Meeting customer needs through phone, email, written correspondence, and other channels, ensuring a seamless and satisfying experience.
  • Maintaining department standards for call volume, average handle time, and time management, consistently delivering high-quality results.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to share best practices, improve processes, and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 1+ years of experience in a high-volume contact center environment, with a strong background in customer service and problem-solving.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with a strong emphasis on communication, teamwork, and adaptability.
  • Strong remote experience (although not required), with a reliable internet connection (minimum 20 Mbps upload and download speed) and a hard-wired connection.
  • A smartphone to access VPN and stay connected with colleagues and clients.
  • Basic computer knowledge and skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and keyboard functions.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, with a minimum typing speed of 30 wpm.
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and maintain a quiet and professional workplace.
  • Insurance industry experience is a plus, but not a requirement.

Training and Onboarding

Our comprehensive training program will equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in this role. You'll participate in a 2-3 week training session, Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm CST, covering:

  • arenaflex's policies, procedures, and systems.
  • Industry-specific knowledge and regulatory requirements.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving techniques.
  • Time management and productivity strategies.

Schedule and Availability

As a remote customer service representative, you'll be required to work a 40-hour workweek, Monday-Friday, with flexible scheduling between 7:30 am and 6:30 pm CST. You'll need to be available to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
