AVA Technologies is a utility solutions company dedicated to simplifying complex processes. The role involves managing accounts payable and receivable, performing revenue reconciliations, and maintaining accurate bookkeeping in QuickBooks.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable (invoicing, payments, vendor/customer follow-up)
  • Perform revenue reconciliations and support month-end close activities
  • Maintain accurate bookkeeping in QuickBooks (coding transactions, journal entries, maintaining ledgers)
  • Prepare and update Excel-based reports and reconciliations
  • Assist with documenting processes and improving accuracy/efficiency

Skills

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks (Online or Desktop)
  • Strong Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables, basic formulas)
  • Understanding of basic accounting principles (debits/credits)
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
  • Clear communication and ability to meet deadlines
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (or in progress)
  • 0–2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
  • Experience with revenue reconciliation and bank/credit card reconciliations
