Job Summary

As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for handling high-volume inbound calls, providing policy information, and resolving customer inquiries and issues in a timely and professional manner. You'll work closely with our team to ensure seamless communication and collaboration, leveraging multiple systems to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Primary Responsibilities

* Handle high-volume inbound calls (70-120 calls per day) from policyholders, providers, and third-party stakeholders, providing exceptional service and resolving customer inquiries and issues promptly.

  • Review and maintain new and revised procedures regarding policy information, ensuring accuracy and compliance with arenaflex standards.
  • Ensure customer needs are met on every interaction, whether via phone, email, or written correspondence.
  • Maintain department standards for call volume, average handle time, and time management.
  • Collaborate with the team to resolve complex customer issues and provide solutions that meet customer needs.

Requirements

* 1+ years of work experience in a high-volume contact center environment, with a strong background in customer service and communication.

  • 18 years of age or older.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong remote experience preferred but not required.
  • Reliable internet connection with a minimum upload and download speed of 20 Mbps, using a hard-wired connection.
  • Must have a smartphone to access VPN.
  • Insurance industry experience is a plus but not a requirement.
  • For safety reasons, you must have or be willing to obtain a fire extinguisher for your home.
  • Quiet and professional work environment.
  • Basic computer knowledge and skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Minimum typing requirement of 30 wpm.
  • Proficient use of the computer, keyboard functions, and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.

Training and Onboarding

* 2-3 weeks of comprehensive training, Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm CST.

  • Training will cover arenaflex policies, procedures, and systems, as well as customer service best practices.
  • Post-training, you'll be assigned to a 40-hour workweek, Monday-Friday, with no weekend shifts unless overtime is presented.

Equipment and Resources

* Candidates must have a smartphone for this role to access VPN.

  • All other equipment will be provided by arenaflex.
