Job Summary
As a Live Chat Specialist - Collections, you'll be responsible for communicating with delinquent borrowers via different digital communication channels, finding solutions to bring their loans to a current status, processing payments, and maintaining records of contacts and payments. This role requires exceptional written communication skills, a strong understanding of financial products, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
* Communicate with delinquent borrowers via different digital communication channels (e.g., email, phone, live chat)
- Find solutions to help bring borrower's loans to a current status
- Process payments for borrowers with past due payments
- Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly collection and metric goals
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex customer issues
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive experience for all borrowers
Required Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
* 1-2 years of direct experience in credit and collections
- Excellent written communication skills
- Prior experience with financial products preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Self-motivated and extremely goal-oriented
- Team Player
- Professional demeanor
- Bilingual Spanish/English required

* Experience with live chat software and customer relationship management (CRM) systems
