Responsibilities

As a Remote Live Chat Agent, you'll be responsible for:

  • Responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally via phone, email, chat, or social media
  • Providing accurate product/service information and troubleshooting assistance to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Utilizing software and tools to track customer interactions and resolve issues efficiently
  • Collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex customer issues and provide seamless support
  • Meeting or exceeding customer satisfaction and productivity targets, while maintaining a high level of quality and accuracy
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest products, services, and industry trends to provide informed and expert support

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • 0-2 years of customer service experience, with a passion for delivering exceptional support
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • A reliable internet connection and quiet workspace, with a computer and necessary software to perform job duties
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and customer relationship management (CRM) software

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications can give you a competitive edge:

  • An associate's or bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or a related field
  • Previous remote work experience, with a proven track record of success
  • Certification in customer service or a related field (e.g., CCNA, CSP)
  • Familiarity with helpdesk software and CRM systems, with a willingness to learn and adapt

Technical Requirements

To perform this role, you'll need:

  • A computer with an up-to-date operating system and software
  • A high-speed internet connection (25 Mbps+)
  • A noise-cancelling headset and webcam for video conferencing and chat support
  • A smartphone or tablet (optional) for remote work and communication

Work Schedule

As a Remote Live Chat Agent, you'll have the flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including:

  • Part-time or full-time schedules
  • Varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Flexible scheduling to accommodate your needs and preferences

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package, including:

  • Hourly rates ranging from $17.00 to $42.00 per hour, depending on experience and performance
