As a Customer Service Representative, you'll play a vital role in supporting our members' drug plans, answering questions about health insurance, drug coverage, and prescriptions, and providing solutions to facilitate treatment.

Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing exceptional customer service to plan members via phone calls, resolving issues, and answering questions about health insurance, drug coverage, and prescriptions
  • Utilizing your problem-solving skills to find solutions that meet the needs of our members
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and resolution of issues
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation of customer interactions
  • Participating in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices
  • Adhering to HIPAA compliance and federal regulations

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • 1 year of customer interaction experience in a call center, retail, customer service, hospitality industry, or military setting
  • Computer experience with Windows-based applications
  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • Ability to solve problems in a positive and constructive manner
  • Excellent customer service skills, including telephone communication and professionalism
  • Patience and understanding, with the ability to convey trust and confidence
  • Reliability and compliance with certain standards

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Experience working in a healthcare setting or with health insurance plans
  • Familiarity with pharmacy benefits and prescription management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Experience with CRM software and other customer service tools

Training and Development

As a new hire, you'll participate in our comprehensive 6-week on-site training program, designed to give you a hands-on learning experience. You'll interact with instructors, self-paced modules, and leadership from day one, and receive ongoing training and development to ensure your success in this role.
