Position Overview We are expanding our residential and commercial divisions and are seeking Residential Appraisers, Certified General Appraisers, and MAI-designated Commercial Appraisers for fee-split opportunities. These roles offer flexibility, independence, and the backing of a company that values quality over volume. Key Responsibilities
Residential Appraisers
- Perform single-family, condominium, 2–4 unit, and FNMA/FHLMC-compliant assignments
- Produce accurate and well-supported appraisal reports
- Maintain communication with clients and meet required turn times
- Ensure compliance with USPAP and company quality standards Certified General & MAI Commercial Appraisers
- Conduct commercial valuations across office, industrial, retail, multifamily, land, and special-use assets
- Prepare comprehensive narrative and form-based reports supported by market research and financial analysis
- Apply all three approaches to value with clarity and defensible methodology
- Interact professionally with lender, investor, and corporate clients
- Manage assignments independently while delivering on deadlines and quality Qualifications Residential Appraisers
- Active Certified Residential or Certified General License in one of the listed states
- Strong understanding of residential valuation, forms, and guidelines
- Solid analytical, communication, and writing skills
- Experience with modern appraisal software and technology Certified General & MAI Commercial Appraisers
- Certified General Appraiser License (Required for commercial work)
- MAI designation or substantial progress toward completion (Preferred for complex narrative work)
- Minimum 3–5 years of commercial appraisal experience (MAI candidates: 5+ recommended)
- Proficiency with Narrative1, Argus, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong financial modeling, market analysis, and narrative writing ability All Candidates
