Job Overview

The Product Principal - Customer Experience role at arenaflex is a critical position that focuses on connecting strategies and defining scope across multiple product teams and domains. As a Product Principal, you will be responsible for driving the delivery of business value, improving customer satisfaction, and enhancing efficiency through the production of quality products. You will work closely with Product Directors and cross-functional program leaders to guide in-depth business reviews, communicate and present across all levels of the organization, and drive change management and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivery and Execution (10%): Coordinate with Distinguished Engineers, User Experience Principals, and impacted teams to ensure a clear path to scope and alignment. Review recommended solutions and work of product teams to ensure products align with company, stakeholder, and end-user priorities.
  • Strategy and Planning (60%): Partner with Cross-Functional Programs or Technology Portfolios to align outcomes, cascade context to leadership, and strategy down to balanced teams using OKRs. Lead cross-functional discovery by partnering with UX Principals, Distinguished Engineers, and balanced teams. Create, coordinate, and sequence activities to ensure alignment across impacted teams and provide visibility of the work through holistic roadmaps with dependencies.
  • Team and Stakeholder (30%): Partner with leadership to represent the portfolio during enterprise planning, coordination, and discovery. Foster collaboration across multiple teams and portfolios to drive value, identify and resolve impediments, and manage cross-functional team and stakeholder expectations to ensure scoping aligns with product strategy. Provide education to requestors to determine prioritization based on tangible benefits and/or user experience.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following essential qualifications:

  • Must be eighteen years of age or older
  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States
  • Minimum of 8 years of work experience
  • Bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Working knowledge of presentation software (e.g., Microsoft PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to convey complex or technical ideas and processes in easy-to-understand terms to diverse audiences
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • 2+ years of previous leadership experience
