Job Summary

As an Experienced Concierge Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients, responding to their inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. You'll work closely with our internal teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration, leveraging your expertise in healthcare-related customer service to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Key Responsibilities

* Respond to telephone and email inquiries from clients, providing accurate and timely resolutions to their concerns

  • Negotiate with providers to gain acceptance for plans without network agreements and/or out of network providers
  • Assist clients with benefits and healthcare questions, demonstrating a strong understanding of healthcare-related topics
  • Document all calls received in our system-based call log, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex issues and improve customer satisfaction
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management

Essential Qualifications

* High School Diploma or equivalent required; 2 years of college or higher education preferred

  • 1 year of customer service or call center experience in a healthcare-related role
  • Medical intake or Third-Party Administrator (TPA) experience a plus
  • Bilingual English-Spanish a plus

Preferred Qualifications

* Strong knowledge of provider organizations and networks

  • Understanding of CMS Medicare reimbursement rates
  • Ability to effectively negotiate rate structures
  • Claim processing skills a plus
  • Insurance verification or pre-certification a plus
  • Provider office/facility billing department or financial area experience a plus
  • Strong analytical and research skills

Skills and Competencies

* Excellent customer relations, interpersonal, and communication skills

  • Strong appreciation and ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
  • Proficient with Microsoft applications and strong computer skills
  • Excellent data entry and typing skills
  • Ability to effectively negotiate rate structures
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Ability to build relationships with internal and external customers
  • Medical terminology knowledge a plus

Work Environment and Culture

As a remote customer service representative, you'll work in a typical office/home office environment, requiring prolonged sitting in front of a computer. You'll need hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office equipment, including computers and phone systems.
