Graphic Designer, Card Frames– TCG

The Graphic Designer, Marketing and Events (Contractor Role) works closely with cross functional partners across Product, Marketing,a nd the Go To Market team to bring the brand’s identity to life across print, retail, and digital platforms. The role is responsible for designing a wide range of creative assets including social media content, trade catalogs, retail materials, product displays, large format graphics, and signage. This position plays a critical part in producing visually compelling designs that communicate the brand story and engage target audiences. The role requires independently managing all assigned work within the defined scope while consistently delivering high-quality creative output. Engagment Duties (Essential Functions)

  • Asset Creation: Develop eye-catching, on brand graphics, including Large format banners, signage, booth display, promotional materials, digital assets, social media assets, and more, with a strong focus on marketing campaigns and trade show events.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders and the creative team to understand project goals and translate them into design assets for print and digital production, managing work independently from initial direction through final delivery.
  • Prepare and package final design files for print or digital use, ensuring accuracy, quality control, and vendor ready specifications.
  • Work with the creative team to integrate photography, video, copy, and design elements into polished final deliverables.
  • Communicate project status proactively to the Senior Trade Marketing Manager and raise any risks or timeline concerns.
  • Maintain cohesive and consistent visual identity across all marketing and event materials by adhering to Ravensburger brand guidelines.
  • Ensure all materials comply with licensor brand standards, accurately incorporating licensor direction throughout the design process.

Required Skills & Knowledge

  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign; AfterEffects is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of print production processes, including die lines, resolution, and color profile management for large-format and event materials.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with strong ability to manage workload, prioritize deadlines, and work effectively across teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute projects independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proactive problem solver who stays flexible and solutions oriented in a fast paced environment.
  • Collaborative team player who is reliable, responsive, and accountable for deliverables.
  • Familiarity with licensed IP, trading card games, board games, puzzles, toys, and a passion for pop culture is a plus.

Experience

  • 3+ years experience working in event and graphic design
