Job Summary

As a Healthcare Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for handling telehealth-based phone calls and email inquiries from customers, providing exceptional customer service, and resolving complex issues related to insurance verifications, benefits education, billing questions, prescription issues, and technical challenges. You will work in a supportive team environment, leveraging your excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and empathy to create positive experiences for our customers and clients.

Key Responsibilities

* Handle a steady volume of incoming calls from customers, navigating multiple systems to resolve issues and provide solutions

  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Manage complex issues related to insurance verifications, benefits education, billing questions, prescription issues, and technical challenges
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and provide solutions
  • Meet productivity and quality standards, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree or higher preferred

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to type 40 words per minute with 96% accuracy
  • High-speed internet and a distraction-free work environment required
  • Ability to work weekends and flexible hours, including evenings and holidays
  • Strong customer service skills, with a passion for helping others
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Previous customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare setting

  • Experience with multiple systems and software applications
