Job Summary

As a Chat Moderator, you'll be responsible for maintaining the chat of our official Discord server, ensuring that our community remains a safe and welcoming space for all members. This is a part-time, remote position that offers flexibility and the opportunity to work with a dynamic team. Key Responsibilities

• Moderate the chat of our official Discord server, ensuring that all users adhere to our community guidelines and rules.

• Delete messages that violate our community guidelines and rules.
• Ban users who repeatedly violate our community guidelines and rules.
• Mute users who have violated our community guidelines and rules.
• Investigate reports made by users about violations of our community guidelines and rules.
• Collaborate with our team to develop and implement strategies for maintaining a positive and inclusive online community.
• Provide excellent customer service and support to our community members.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• To be at least 18 years old.
• A High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Familiarity with Discord and online community management.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in community management, moderation, or a related field.

• Knowledge of online safety and security best practices.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
