Job Summary

As a part-time data entry specialist, you'll play a critical role in supporting our cybersecurity and risk management team. You'll work closely with our experts to analyze, identify, and mitigate potential threats, and contribute to the development of effective security protocols. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, and to develop your skills in emergency management, threat assessment, and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

* Work with business clients to conduct needs analysis and develop quality technical solutions

• Ensure solutions are aligned with internal tooling, business processes, and departmental standards
• Manage project timelines for planning, coding, testing, and implementation to ensure timely and budget-friendly delivery
• Act as a resource to facilitate effective communication between business and IT teams
• Participate in system and acceptance testing
• Scope of work varies depending on the project task

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Fundamental knowledge of data security and risk management principles, theories, and practices
• Experience or exposure to Proofpoint PhishAlarm is a plus
• Experience or knowledge of ServiceNow Administration, GRC is a plus
• Basic knowledge of business analysis, process modeling, and improvement is a plus
• Major understanding of project management systems, including the ability to design, manage, and maintain a complex, organization-wide program is a plus
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with all levels within the organization, including both technical and non-technical stakeholders is a plus
• Fundamental knowledge of technical environment is required
• Openness to Agile philosophies is a plus
• Coursework or experience related to cybersecurity is a plus
• Ability to remain organized and manage multiple and simultaneous tasks under tight deadlines is required
• Past investigator entry-level position experience within the past year is a plus
• Experience resolving business issues in a capstone or case competition is a plus
• Ability to work in a culture that is open, direct, transparent, gracious, and empathetic
• Fast learner, self-motivated, team-oriented, with a sense of humor

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a cybersecurity or risk management role

• Knowledge of threat intelligence, incident response, and security operations
• Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems
• Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements
• Experience working with cloud-based security solutions
• Knowledge of data analytics and visualization tools
