Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Engineer to join our team. As a Full Stack Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data pipelines and architectures to support arenaflex's business and information science needs. You will work closely with our data science team to develop and implement data solutions that drive business insights and improve customer outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain large-scale data pipelines and architectures to support arenaflex's business and information science needs
- Collaborate with our data science team to develop and implement data solutions that drive business insights and improve customer outcomes
- Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, data set frameworks, and tools for continuous and batch processing
- Work with our data science team to integrate data and models into automated processes
- Develop and maintain data stores and data models to support information science and other internal clients
- Ensure data quality and accessibility standards are met by incorporating data from various sources
- Investigate current data technology conditions to identify and evaluate key capabilities and suggest solutions
- Explore new tools and technologies to determine the best solution given the requirements directed by the model/use case
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on cloud and big data technologies
- 5+ years of experience with SQL, Python, and cloud-based platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
- Strong communication, decision-making, and critical thinking skills
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with Hadoop, Hive, or PySpark
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js)
- Experience with healthcare industry data (EMRs, claims data, or patient outcomes)
- Knowledge of data governance and data quality standards
Skills and Competencies
* Strong understanding of data engineering principles and practices
- Experience with cloud-based platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
- Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and other relevant languages
