Job Overview

The Client Systems group at arenaflex is seeking an experienced Java Developer to help us build and deliver new solutions. As a Java Software Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams across arenaflex, working closely with our business leaders and various stakeholders to implement these new solutions. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting large-scale enterprise-level systems, and you should be able to work independently, prioritize requirements, and develop solutions for complex systems and content, with the ability to work under pressure occasionally.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support Java and Java Enterprise applications, including architecture, design, development, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with business leaders and stakeholders to understand requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs.
• Work with cross-functional teams to implement new solutions and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
• Develop and maintain large-scale enterprise-level systems, including back-end systems, APIs, and data storage solutions.
• Ensure the security and reliability of our systems, and develop solutions that are scalable, efficient, and meet the needs of our customers.

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience with Java and Java Enterprise development, including design, development, and maintenance of large-scale enterprise-level systems.
• Proven experience with Java, Spring, multi-threading, REST, Data Storage Solutions, DB design, and data access technologies.
• Experience with artificial intelligence and building solutions for large-scale data processing.
• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience with cloud-based technologies, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
• Experience with DevOps tools, including Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of security principles and practices, including secure coding, authentication, and authorization.
