Experienced Data Entry Clerk – Alternate Investments Reconciliation and Trade Processing (Remote)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Entry Clerk to join our team, responsible for processing trade deal purchases, reconciling transactions, and addressing breaks between TD Ameritrade and fund companies or transfer agents. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing corporate activity activities, settling/reconciling transactions, and processing/reconciling returns activity. The Data Entry Clerk will also be responsible for analyzing complex/escalated issues, testing/validation of new innovation enhancements, and provider modifications.

Key Responsibilities

* Process trade deal purchases in customer profiles and determine/address breaks recognized between TD Ameritrade and fund companies or transfer agents

  • Process corporate activity activities, settle/reconcile transactions, and process/reconcile returns activity
  • Analyze complex/escalated issues and provide recommendations for resolution
  • Test and validate new innovation enhancements and provider modifications
  • Reconcile Business, Dividend, and Transactions Breaks
  • Get Back Together across BOS and Fund Companies
  • Review and analyze correct tax coding and corrections of income tax coding
  • Address internal/external system improvements or concerns
  • Identify root cause of breaks between TDA, the Fund, etc
  • Provide method or innovation service alternatives to Management
  • Remediate transfer issues with the Fund or Opposite Firm
  • Answer business partner inquiries concerning Fund details requirements/eligibility
  • Provide follow-up on Substitute Expenditure moves to expedite the customer demand or remediate not neat issues
  • Prompt and correct finalization of client investing and dividend demands

Essential Qualifications

* 1-2 years of experience in data entry, reconciliation, or trade processing

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes
  • Experience with Salesforce, Slack, and other collaboration tools

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in the financial industry, specifically in trade processing and reconciliation

  • Knowledge of regulatory commitments, such as 2340 and 15C3-3
  • Experience with tax coding and corrections
  • Experience with system improvements and provider modifications
  • Certification in data entry, reconciliation, or trade processing

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Experience with collaboration tools, such as Slack and Salesforce
