Product Solutions Engineer

Dodge Construction Network (Dodge) is looking for a Product Solutions Engineer whos passionate about data, analytics, and solving complex customer challenges through technology. As a Product Solutions Engineer, youll partner with Account Executives to drive the technical aspects of the sales process and ensure customer success from first conversation through deployment. Youll play a critical role in bridging the gap between our sales, product, and customer success teamshelping prospects and clients understand how our solutions can unlock real business value. This is a full-time position and reports directly to the VP, Product GTM. Preferred Location This is a remote, home-office based role and candidates located in the continental United States will be considered. Travel Requirements Minimal travel expected for this role. Essential Functions

  • Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer business challenges, qualify leads, and map them to data-driven solutions using Dodge products
  • Cultivate sales opportunities with key strategic clients and align those opportunities with product roadmap
  • Lead discovery sessions to understand customer needs and pain points
  • Work closely with product and engineering teams to relay customer feedback and ensure solution feasibility
  • Deliver engaging demos, proof-of-concepts (POCs), and technical presentations tailored to customer use cases
  • Translate complex data requirements into clear technical solutions and implementation plans
  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor, guiding prospects through solution design, data pipelines, and analytics best practices
  • Contribute to reusable demo assets, architecture templates, and technical playbooks for the broader team
  • Develop proactive go-to-market solutions for a given product and partner with product marketing to drive customer engagement across both new and existing business
  • Effectively position product use cases against key buyer personas including building product manufacturers, distributors, and financial industry segments Education Requirement Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent education and work experience. Required Experience, Knowledge and Skills
  • 7+ years of experience in a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, or Pre-Sales Consultant role within the data, analytics, or SaaS industry
  • Strong analytical and consultative selling skills
  • Ability to generate insights from new products to meet innovative customer needs
  • Proven background in insights, consulting, sales engineering, product consulting, or a related role
  • Demonstrated experience in B2B sales motions with enterprise and mid-market companies, preferably in the construction or manufacturing industry
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and business audiences
  • Proven experience conducting live demos, POCs, and technical workshops.
  • Excellent storytelling and presentation skillsable to translate technology into customer value Preferred Experience, Knowledge and Skills
  • Hands-on experience with modern data stack technologies (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, dbt, Looker, Power BI, Tableau)
  • Understanding of APIs, data integration patterns, and security best practices
  • Exposure to enterprise sales motions and account-based strategies
  • Familiarity with statistical modeling, industry benchmarking, and marketshare related solutions including both supply and demand modeling

Salary Disclosure Dodge Construction Networks compensation and rewards package for full time roles includes a market competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and, for applicable roles, uncapped commissions plans or an annual discretionary performance bonus.
