As a Learning Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in boosting the competencies of our customer service associates, developing and conducting effective training programs that align with our core values and goals.

Job Scope and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be an expert communicator in Japanese (JLPT N1) and English, with a strong background in training delivery and a passion for cultural and soft skills development. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering arenaflex orientation and new hire training to all job levels, both virtually and in-person, as required by the business
  • Meeting and exceeding performance expectations related to new hire training, including training yield, customer experience, and AHT performance
  • Designing and delivering continuous learning sessions for existing employees to meet and exceed improvement goals
  • Proactively analyzing performance data to identify gaps and proposing and delivering training interventions to address these needs
  • Gathering training needs through performance data analysis, voice of business, and voice of associates sessions, and designing and delivering training interventions to meet these needs
  • Maintaining and reporting data, including trainee attendance, performance, and analysis, in a timely and accurate manner
  • Participating in call listening sessions and quality calibrations to stay up-to-date with the latest developments and updates
  • Taking customer contacts on a monthly basis to stay informed about the latest process updates and changes
  • Leading and/or participating in improvement projects aimed at enhancing business performance

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Expertise in the Japanese language (JLPT N1 Certified) and English language
  • 2+ years of experience in training delivery roles or similar experience
  • Flexibility to work within a 24/7 x 365 days global team across various time zones
  • Good communication skills for knowledge transfer and skill development
  • Good coordination and organization skills
  • Extensive expertise in cultural and soft skills relevant to a contact center environment
  • Competent user level of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Experience in customer service or customer service-related work experience
  • Training experience specific to a contact center environment
  • Bachelor's degree or significant college coursework in communication, education, or a related field
  • Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
