Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative on our Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy team, you'll be responsible for providing phone support to patients receiving life-saving specialty drug treatment. You'll be the primary point of contact for patients, answering questions, addressing concerns, and resolving issues related to their medication orders. Your exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities will enable you to provide seamless support and ensure that patients receive their medications on time.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide phone support to patients receiving life-saving specialty drug treatment, addressing questions, concerns, and issues related to their medication orders

  • Coordinate and handle new prescription requests and reorders, including verifying and updating patient benefits
  • Assist patients with deciphering and entering new or reorder medications into our pharmacy data system
  • Collect and process copay payments, obtain approvals, and work with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to resolve and process orders with records of sales or clinical issues
  • Collaborate with patients, insurance companies, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of medication orders
  • Utilize Windows-based applications, such as Windows, Microsoft Office, web navigation, and email applications, to manage patient information and medication orders
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies

Essential Qualifications

* Active IL Pharmacy Technician License or willingness to apply for an IL Pharmacy Technician License

  • One year of experience in a customer service role, handling and resolving a high volume of complex customer needs via telephone
  • One year of work experience with Windows-based applications, such as Windows, Microsoft Office, web navigation, and email applications
  • One year of PC keyboarding experience, skills, and proficiency

* Healthcare work experience and knowledge of benefits, insurance, medications, and clinical terminology

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and problem-solving

  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and productivity
  • Strong technical skills, with proficiency in Windows-based applications and ability to learn new software and systems quickly
