Key Responsibilities

  • Answer telephones and respond to basic customer questions using established methods provided in training
  • Forward calls to appropriate personnel when necessary
  • Record calls on account history records with results of the inquiry and initiate required confirmation
  • Process customer requests by sending faxes, returning telephone messages, sending mail documents, or using other related communication under direct supervision
  • Utilize help desk software to manage and resolve customer issues
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve customer satisfaction and resolution targets

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Zero or more years of customer service or other telephone experience
  • Experience working with organizational functions and personnel
  • Experience working with fax machines, computer software, and telephone technology
  • Experience working with and skilled in the use of help desk software
