About the Role: Customer Alarm Monitoring Agent

The Customer Alarm Monitoring Agent plays a vital role in our organization, serving as the first point of contact for customers during emergency situations. As a Customer Alarm Monitoring Agent at arenaflex, you will be responsible for monitoring alarm signals, responding to emergencies, and providing world-class customer service to our clients. Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to alarm signals from customers' alarm systems, assessing the situation and taking prompt action to ensure customer safety and security.
  • Dispatch emergency signals to police, fire, and medical agencies, following established protocols and procedures to ensure timely and effective response.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to customers in their time of need, offering empathy, support, and clear communication to alleviate concerns and provide solutions.
  • Notify customers of non-emergency signals, keeping them informed and up-to-date on the status of their alarm systems.
  • Notify account contacts of emergency signals after dispatch, ensuring that all relevant parties are informed and involved in the response process.
  • Receive and process inbound calls requesting information, providing accurate and helpful responses to customer inquiries.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, demonstrating a strong foundation in education and a commitment to learning and development.
  • Ability to type a minimum of 40 words per minute, ensuring efficient and accurate data entry and communication.
  • Must be able to pass an FBI criminal background check to obtain a Burglar Alarm License in all 50 states, demonstrating a clean record and adherence to industry standards.
  • One year of customer service experience preferred, but not required, highlighting the importance of exceptional service skills and a customer-centric approach.

Nice-to-Haves:

While not essential, the following skills and qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Bilingual Spanish/English speakers, offering an additional $1.00 per hour and enhancing our ability to serve diverse customer populations.
  • Experience in a high-stress environment, demonstrating the ability to remain calm, focused, and composed under pressure.
