Experienced Family Outreach and Data Entry Coordinator – Student Recruitment Support

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Family Outreach and Data Entry Coordinator to join our Student Recruitment team on a part-time basis. As a key member of our recruitment strategy, you will play a vital role in generating new applications for our East Harlem, Mott Haven, and Highbridge campuses. About the Role

As a Family Outreach and Data Entry Coordinator, you will report directly to the Director of Student Recruitment and execute weekly assignments as part of our recruitment strategy. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Effective communication with prospective families over the phone, serving as a positive ambassador for arenaflex
  • Proficient communication in spoken Spanish, preferred
  • Making calls primarily between the hours of 5-8pm, with some weekend availability to make calls, preferred
  • Providing exceptional customer service orientation
  • Demonstrating effective time management and prioritization skills
  • Keeping information organized to complete tasks in a timely manner
  • Accurately entering data and using databases to support recruitment efforts
  • Familiarity with SchoolMint, preferred

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred

  • 1-2 years of experience in customer service, sales, or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Ability to learn and accurately use databases

Preferred Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in education, communications, or a related field

  • 2-3 years of experience in student recruitment, admissions, or a related field
  • Familiarity with SchoolMint and other student information systems
  • Experience working with diverse populations and communities
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills, with a focus on Spanish
