Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Customer Service Manager to lead our customer service team and develop key processes that increase customer satisfaction. As a seasoned professional in customer service and supply chain management, you will be responsible for directing and managing all aspects of the Customer Service Department, including activities, policies, objectives, and initiatives. Your expertise in providing outstanding customer service, coupled with your ability to motivate and lead teams, will be essential in driving business growth and ensuring exceptional service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Comply with established job safety practices, policies, and procedures as specified in plant and corporate directives for the safe performance of the work assignment.
  • Support and follow the SQF (Safe Quality Food System) guidelines of the food safety system.
  • Direct and manage all aspects of the Customer Service Department activities, policies, objectives, and initiatives.
  • Manage the CSR customer account assignment and establish key backup support.
  • Engage with customers regarding their forecast and supply chain information.
  • Participate in the SIOP process, manage and provide any data required.
  • Engage in the customer RFQ process and new customer onboarding procedures.
  • Set performance metrics, train staff, handle escalated customer issues, and analyze customer feedback.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication, conflict resolution, and a focus on continuous improvement. You should have working knowledge in manufacturing principles, practices, nomenclature, and procedures, as well as logistics management, production planning, manufacturing environment, financial management, and business principles and practices.

Additionally, you should be proficient in Microsoft Excel, CRM, and general ERP system knowledge. The ability to apply intensive and diversified evaluation, selection, and substantial adaptation and modification of standard production planning techniques, procedures, and criteria is also essential.

Essential Qualifications

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing principles, practices, nomenclature, and procedures.
  • Logistics management, production planning, and manufacturing environment experience.
  • Financial management and business principles and practices knowledge.
  • Microsoft Excel, CRM, and general ERP system proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a similar role, preferably in the packaging industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to build strong relationships with customers.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual base salary range for this role is from $132,160 to $148,680, plus an annual target bonus of 12.5% of base salary.
