Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced Retail Customer Service Associate, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing expert advice and support to customers in all areas of our business, including print, signs & graphics, and shipping
  • Utilizing consultative skills to anticipate customer needs, suggest alternatives, and find solutions to meet customer needs
  • Demonstrating a thorough knowledge of our products and services, including pricing and product information
  • Operating and maintaining a wide variety of equipment, including printing, binding, and shipping equipment
  • Managing complex projects and ensuring timely completion
  • Maintaining a safe, clean, and orderly retail store environment
  • Processing financial transactions using a Point of Sale terminal (POS), including handling cash and making change
  • Staying current on retail store merchandising materials and ensuring proper display of all retail area product and signage
  • Taking preemptive action to prevent errors and waste
  • Completing required financial paperwork and assisting with financial reporting, including daily sales, close-outs, and bank deposits

Essential Qualifications and Requirements

* High school diploma or equivalent education

  • 6+ months of specialized experience in a retail or customer service environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to stand during entire shift, excluding meal and rest periods
  • Ability to move and lift 55 pounds
  • Ability to bend/twist at the waist and knees on a consistent basis
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and other team members
  • Ability to perform work activities requiring cooperation and instruction
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment, under substantial pressure
  • Ability to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to report regularly to work and maintain established business hours in order to support the arenaflex business

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment

  • Knowledge of print, signs & graphics, and shipping products and services
  • Experience with Point of Sale terminals (POS) and financial transactions
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide support to colleagues
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities
