Key Responsibilities

In this exciting role, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks that require your excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently. Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • Providing exceptional guest services, including responding to guest inquiries, resolving guest issues, and achieving 5-star ratings and Superhost Status on platforms like Airbnb, VRBO, and Marriott
  • Screening potential guests and communicating with them via phone, email, or messaging platforms
  • Writing and responding to guest reviews on various platforms to ensure that our brand is consistently represented in a positive and professional manner
  • Reporting maintenance and damage issues to Operations via Operto Teams and submitting damage claims to Guesty Shield for reimbursement
  • Building, managing, and reporting in-house maintenance labor to ensure that our properties are always well-maintained and ready for guests
  • Assisting with the onboarding of accounting systems and providing working knowledge of business financials and accounting principles
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with 3rd party vendors for tertiary market management
  • Communicating and escalating issues to Management via Slack to ensure that all issues are addressed promptly and efficiently

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Fluency in English and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to speak clearly on the phone and use a VoIP to communicate with guests and vendors
  • Experience with Guesty and/or HostAI, or a similar property management system
  • Deep familiarity with leveraging ChatGPT for comprehensive guest messaging
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities with ease
  • Availability and reliability in CST and Eastern United States time zones, with perfect English and grammar

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Experience in the hospitality industry, particularly in guest services or operations management
  • Knowledge of business financials and accounting principles
  • Experience with 3rd party vendor relations and tertiary market management
  • Familiarity with Operto Teams and other property management software
