Key Responsibilities:

* Guides members through their benefits, Aetna policy, and procedures, ensuring they have a clear understanding of their coverage and resources.

  • Creates an emotional connection with members by understanding and engaging with them to champion their best health.
  • Takes accountability for fully understanding members' needs, building trusting and caring relationships, and anticipating their needs.
  • Performs review of member claim history to ensure accurate tracking of benefit maximums and/or coinsurance/deductible.
  • Performs financial data maintenance as necessary.
  • Explains members' rights and responsibilities in accordance with contract.
  • Collaborates with internal stakeholders to resolve complex issues and provide exceptional customer service.

Essential Qualifications:

* 1-3 years of customer service experience in a call center atmosphere.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with members and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to navigate complex issues and provide creative solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Previous behavioral health experience.

  • Medical or insurance background.
  • Associate's degree or higher in a related field.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits:

* Competitive hourly rate: $17.00 - $28.46.
