Position Overview:

  • Role: Physician for Virtual Patient Care
  • Visit Types: Primarily video visits with patients (synchronous)
  • Location: Fully Remote
  • Schedule: Available 10 hours a week, scheduling is flexible
  • Compensation: Approximately $120/hour
  • Important Note:This is a 1099 contractor opportunity, provided that, this classification and rate of pay are subject to change based on the clinicians state of residence, applicable state employment and worker classification regulations, and the clinicians availability and involvement with SteadyMD, to ensure compliance with state-specific labor and wage requirements.

Some Responsibilities Include:

  • Primary need: A unique program opportunity is available for scheduled sync visit with patients and a dedicated ho
  • Deliver patient care across SteadyMDs programs, including but not limited to: urgent care, weight management, lab review, remote patient monitoring and primary care.
  • Conduct evaluations via video, phone (both scheduled and on-demand), and asynchronous communication with patients of all ages (adults and pediatrics).
  • Serve a diverse patient population while exemplifying inclusivity and evidence-based clinical practices.
  • Maintain a compassionate, patient-centered approach to care delivery.
  • Participate in supervision requirements as applicable for credentialing and licensure.

Requirements

  • Active Physician (MD/DO) license in at least 3 of the following states: CT, NY, GA, DE, CA, FL, NJ, MA, PA, MD, SC, NC, RI, TX) with residency in the licensed state
  • Three licenses in: CT, NY, GA, DE, CA
  • Minimum of 10 active state licenses
  • Board Certified, Family or Internal Medicine Preferred
  • 3 years of independent practice experience as an NP preferred
  • Telemedicine or virtual care experience is preferred
  • Availability to work minimum of 10 hours/week (flexible on time of day/days of the week)
  • Proficiency with technology platforms for telemedicine delivery
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong professionalism and ability to work autonomously
  • Must be able to learn quickly, adapt to quick pace, express empathy
