Human by nature. Controlling-Reporting Manager - Your future position? As a Controlling-Reporting Manager in our Budapest site you will lead a 8-10 heads team responsible for cost accounting, GL accounting and reporting activities, while you will also make sure of the accuracy of the financial statements in accordance with legal and statutory requirements, as well as Givaudan accounting and reporting policies and procedures. Main responsibilities

  • Supporting and coordinating:
  • coordinating the closing activities based on corporate guidelines, while also be supporting and monitoring the team with regards to the following tasks:
  • accurate and timely UPI, GAC reporting;
  • maintenance of the Product Cost workflow items in SAP according to the SLA;
  • recording of Production Cost and Cost of Good Sold, including period end closing and variance analysis;
  • booking of journal entries, clear GL accounts including accruals, revaluation;
  • inventory control and valuation;
  • reconciliation of Balance Sheet accounts.
  • Define specific controls and procedures for the Co&Re processes.
  • Executes quality check activities to ensure consistency of managed data for assigned regional Givaudan companies, e.g.: group structure changes properly reflected, check for major deviations.
  • Decision on reopening/adjustment of reporting packages.
  • Leading: l
  • eading and coaching the team members, while you also plan and monitor the workload of the team.
  • Be responsible for goal setting and performance management processes.
  • Monitor the team’s performance against deliverables set in the Service Levels Agreements (SLAs) and against the Corporate standards.
  • Manage and develop the employees to continuously provide high quality services to the recipients
  • Participating:
  • analyse Controlling/ Reporting activities, make proposals to improve and standardise the processes the day-to-day activities and Month-End Closing.
  • Participate and coordinate audits and projects, while you will also be working closely and effectively with all business partners involved in respective processes.
  • Coordinates preparation of business cases for process and / or SAP improvements (point of contact for the IT project).
  • Collects and evaluates KPIs (both quality KPIs and for internal steering) and analyzes these KPIs to unveil further improvement potential taking into account benchmarking activities

Your professional profile includes

  • University degree in Business Administration with majors in accounting / controlling or equivalent education
  • Fluent English level
  • 8+ years of professional experience in a finance, controlling department
  • Management experience
  • Microsoft Office literacy
  • Comprehensive SAP FI/CO skills
