Remote Pharmacy Technician

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in pharmacy operations.This role is crucial in ensuring the safe and effective administration of medications to patients, while providing exceptional patient service and care.The job is 100% remote, training of 2 weeks is mandatory live in Juncos/Gurabo area.Responsibilities• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.• Assist in adherence.• Assist Pharm D, analyzing clinical information.• Perform medication intake processes, including reviewing patient profiles and verifying prescriptions.• Provide patient education regarding medication usage, potential side effects, and storage instructions.• Maintain accurate records of medication administration and patient interactions.• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care outcomes.• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and pharmacy policies.• Stay updated on medical terminology and pharmacy best practices to enhance service delivery.Requirements• Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician is required.• Knowledge of critical care practices and acute care environments is a plus.• Proficiency in medical terminology related to pharmaceuticals and patient care.• Strong understanding of medication administration protocols.• Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service and support.• Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team while maintaining professionalism at all times.• Attention to detail with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
